1 Co 3:6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. A North American Missions Church Plant is an autonomous work that begins with the approval of the Florida District Board. Florida North American Missions provides training, funding and support for approved Church Planters on NAM Status. Our vision is “Every City” and our mission is to plant a preaching point, daughter work or church plant in each of our 282 cities, 109 towns and 20 villages.
A Preaching Point is a regularly scheduled service, typically once a week or at least once a month, that features preaching. It is not a firm commitment to start a church, but it’s a stated effort to explore the possibility. A preaching point is distinct from the mother church as to location or language, and it is designed to reach people who are currently unchurched. All Preaching Points may be approved by the Florida District Executive Committee or The Florida District Board.
A daughter work is the result of an established mother church planting a new congregation. It is a gathering with at least one service per week apart from the mother church. The daughter work operates under the general oversight of the pastor of the mother church. A daughter work may be approved by The Florida District Executive Committee or The Florida District Board.
Christmas For Christ continues to support the many Church Planters across the Florida District. Whether it’s starting a Bible Study, Preaching Point, or planting a church, together we can reach “every city” in the state of Florida.

A metro daughter work is a daughter work that is located within a metropolitan statistical area with a population of over 750,000. Many established churches in our great cities have the burden and determination to reach their city. Thankfully, in many cases, they already have men and women prepared to plant more churches in these under-evangelized cities. However, launching these new works may be delayed or even blocked by the lack of financial resources. North American Missions, through the Metro Daughter Work program, desires to partner with these existing churches financially. These mother churches are providing the pastor, the team, the support, and much of the finance; we want to make their burden a little lighter by helping them financially.

Thank you for expressing an interest in planting yet another church. The fact that you are completing an application for NAF indicates that you have already successfully planted at least one church! North America has millions of lost souls, not only in our large cities but in communities of anywhere from 5,000 to 750,000 people. There is a great need for proven laborers to “Thrust in the sickle.” We must reach one more city, one more culture, and one more soul before the season ends forever. Thank you for the church you have already planted! Because of you – souls will be in heaven who otherwise would likely have been lost.
